Nursery places and how to apply

Our thriving inclusive school offers part-time nursery places from age three. We believe that all children and students have a right to have an excellent education in order to give them the best life chances irrespective of race, colour, creed or circumstance.

In common with other schools in the Lion Academy Trust, we know that investing in well-qualified teachers and support staff, and forming excellent relationships with parents, is what results in happy pupils who achieve well.

Our nursery is equipped with excellent resources to make learning interesting and fun. Children have access to two large playgrounds which have climbing frames, a racetrack for bikes and scooters, a sand pit, construction area and many other areas in which children can learn.

We have nursery places available and would love to show you and your child around the school. Every Thursday is open day at Thomas Gamuel, to enable prospective parents to visit the school at 10am or 2pm without the need to make an appointment. A senior leader will be available to show families around the school.

Our weekly Stay and Play group for parents or carers and their babies or toddlers runs every Thursday, which is another way for families and children to get used to the school environment before starting in nursery.

We have capacity for 39 children in the nursery. There are currently spaces in both sessions available. For more information on the nursery or to complete an admission pack, call Maretha Cilliers, Deputy Head,  020 8520 7031 or email
